The overnight idea at Hala Camp is about giving a desert visit more time: time to settle in, enjoy the company you came with and leave room for the morning rather than planning everything around the drive home.
Overnight accommodation is part of our development plans for the new camp near Jeddah. This page introduces the direction we’re working towards; it is not a bookable accommodation offer.
More Than a Longer Day Visit
An evening visit and an overnight stay need different things.
A day out might centre on an activity or a gathering. A stay also needs somewhere to withdraw, a clear understanding of the sleeping arrangements and enough practical detail to know whether it suits the people travelling with you.
That is the distinction we are making as we develop the accommodation. The aim is not simply to add a bed to a day programme, but to give staying guests their own rhythm within the camp.
What We’re Designing For
Space for your own time
Privacy is a design priority. We want the relationship between accommodation, gathering spaces and the surrounding landscape to feel considered, rather than placing every guest in the middle of everyone else’s visit.
This is a design aim, not a promise of a secluded unit or exclusive use of the camp. Those details will depend on the final layout and accommodation offering.
A setting that still feels like the desert
Our design direction takes its lead from sand, open views and a lighter palette. We want the accommodation to belong to its setting, rather than make the landscape feel like a backdrop to a building.
Practical comfort, clearly explained
The quieter details matter: the sleeping layout, where belongings go, how the unit is maintained and the route between accommodation and shared spaces.
Before stays become bookable, we will explain the actual facilities rather than ask guests to infer them from a photograph or the word “glamping”.
What You’ll Be Able to Check Before Booking
The accommodation information will need to answer these questions clearly:

These are the details we intend to publish, not a list of amenities currently confirmed at Hala Camp.

Questions About Overnight Stays
Can I book an overnight stay now?
Not yet. Accommodation is in development, and overnight bookings are not open. The opening list is for updates, not reservations.
Will accommodation open at the same time as the rest of the camp?
That has not been confirmed. We will announce overnight availability separately when the relevant details are ready.
Will the units have private bathrooms or air conditioning?
Those amenities have not been confirmed for publication. The final accommodation information will state what each unit includes.
Will activities and meals be included?
No overnight package inclusions have been announced. A stay and an activity programme should not be assumed to include one another.
